Constant Transient
The constant transient condition of matter physically records time.
An abandoned space, in whose rough and cracked surfaces one can
find traces of its previous use, is now interpreted as a storage of
actions and narratives that highlights the passing of time.
Working with traces, marks and decisive color placement on the
surfaces, I aim to retrace their shaping process. Going backwards,
deleting the layers while exploring the spatio-temporal variables,
I try to comprehend the evolution and change. Shifting and expanding
my approach to the three dimensional space, I use personal objects to inhabit it. This kind of presence polarizes the space; its previous use remains as a vestigial memory, encouraging the viewer to observe not static elements but a growing process.
