Images, fragments of continuously updated information
from the outside, have agency: they “do” worlds.
In the presented works, images of objects are transferred
and reproduced on plaster surfaces. This material practice
draws the attention to the details between the reproducible
image and the plaster surface in which they are depicted
likewise their abstract materiality; stratas of memories
to layers of matter. This body of work is an effort to retrace
a shaping process; to blur the boundaries between
architectural elements and representation: to delete
pre-existing layers of meaning and create new narratives.
It is a continuous redefining of the elements that constitute
the image, as it is trying to occupy the instability of nowness.
